Filiberto Caponi’s Alien
In 1993, a 23 year old Italian artist had a series of encounter that rank as some of the weirdest of the weird. Filiberto Caponi’s encounter stretched over several months and resulted in a collection of six polaroid pictures, which show the various ‘stages’ of the creature emerging from some sort of cacoon like bag.
The photos were published in the weekly magazine “Visto” n. 43 on 28 October 1993, and then produced on TV during the program “I Fatti Vostri” (“Your facts”) on Friday, November 5, 1993, hosted by Giancarlo Magalli.
Other odd physical featured described are the gauze like substance the thing was wrapped in and the tubes that protruded from its chest after it was fully developed.
There are unconfirmed reports that the Italian Aeronautics Defense launched several air to air missiles at a UFO three days before the first Caponi encounter. The reports continue that the UFO was hit and several balls of light were seen flying from the UFO, but if went down in a canal, not far from where Caponi saw his creature.
