Lights and Explosion Over Tok Alaska
Residents of Tok Alaska reported a sonic boom like explosion, balls of fire and smoke trails in the sky Monday December 29th, 2009. Some even claimed to have felt the air from the explosion, but none reported falling debris.
“It was just like somebody took a pen and made a white cloud that went up and down and up and down and squiggly” described Kathy Olding, about 4 miles outside Tok, talking about the irregular contrails in the clear afternoon sky.
Instantly classified as a falling meteor, local 911 lines filled up quickly with reports.
Sgt. Wells of the local State Troopers added “We’re looking for UFOs around here.” None have been found.
