Posted October 21, 2009, this sighting of a giant flying V UFO from over Olympia Washington in June of 2005 on UFOCasebook.com caught my attention.

Seems our run of Black Balloon UFOs were proceeded by a boomerang over the same area.

We’re obviously not alone and after my wife & I witnessed a “V” shaped object from our balcony on a clear night over Olympia, Washington. I’m a true believer something in our near future is about to unfold for all of human kind.

The object was “boomerang” in shape with “five” lights… one in front… two on each wing. It was incredibly huge! and blotted out the stars as it flew over.

The craft had to be in low orbit because we both witnessed a satellite flying under the object which confirmed how very “real” this was for us.

It’s probably the most remarkable thing I’ve ever seen and has made a major impact towards my beliefs that we are not alone and that something for all humanity is about to unfold.

It also concerns me that the “Mayans” and other past cultures were actually trying to warn us of the upcoming events in 2012. Seeing is truly believing.

I’m still not buying the Orange Balls of Light Chinese Lantern Theory (ORBLCLT) to explain all these sightings.

My giant flying bioluminescent dinosaurs theory has yet to be embraced by the UFO community, but I’ll keep throwing it out there.

A recent episode of History Channel’s Monster Quest explored reports of pterodactyl-like creatures that have been seen in the skies of Papua New Guinea. Called a ropen or flying demon, it is said to be bioluminescent and blurry video and photos presented by Monster Quest and monster hunters Paul Nation and Garth Guessman look a lot like the video and photos from the UK and July 4th ORBL sightings.

The natives of Umboi Island of Papua New Guinea have stories of unexplained lights in the skies and tales of giant flying dinosaur like creatures that go back generations. More recent sightings, such as the Duane Hodgkinson “pterodactyl” sighting in 1944 and 1994 Gideon Koro, Wesley Koro, and Mesa Agustin sighting, reporting a huge 20 foot plus wing span on a pteranodon or pterodactyl like creature, a crested head, and in night time sightings a glow or bioluminescent quality.

Not a lot of information is available about reports of two objects falling near the Mongolian capital of Ulan Bator on February 19. The first object, according to the report, weighed 10 kg, while the second larger object weighed “approximately 2 tons.”

This information is from a report filed February 23 with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness database, MUFON Case #21989.

Crashed UFO? Jet engine parts? Space junk?

Weird Events, a new organisation based in Swindon, Wiltshire are holding a series of talks in the run up to their 2010 International paranormal and UFO conference in August. The talks include well known speakers such as Nick Pope (former MoD UFO Helpdesk) and Malcolm Robinson (Well known investigator) amongst other names.
The talks are held in Swindon on the last Saturday of each month and will cover many subjects and beliefs.

Chris Williams, organiser of Weird Events said

Who are the shady characters attempting to mislead those ufologists who may have strayed too close to the truth?”

“Trystan Swale is a folklore hobbyist and between 2004 and 2009 was an active member of two paranormal investigation teams in southern England. He has investigated a range of phenomena including ghosts, unidentified flying objects and out of place animals. When not busy piecing together and co-hosting Righteous Indignation podcast, Trystan is a teacher by profession”

Chris also said “The talks are aimed at anyone who wants to find out more about the subject matter and with our varied lectures through 2010, there is something for everyone”

The talks are held in “The Restaurant” Kings Hotel, Wood Street, Swindon. The doors open at 7:15pm and each talk finishes around 9:30pm. Entry is only £6.

This post began as I started collecting several UFO videos.

The one below from February 9th over New York is 6 minutes and 22 seconds of riveting little white dots crawling around a blue oval, some times flashing but looking more like paramecium than alien craft

Or if you want somewhere more Irish, a story of UFO filmed over Drogheda from the Drogheda Independent. The story of a UFO sighting by John Smith, who lives off Marley’s Lane who got 7 minutes of video of the New Years Eve UFOs as the cruised across the Irish sky.

And what about your home town? What do you get if you search YouTube for “UFO over (Insert Your Town Here)?

Lets try ‘my town’, Olympia, Washington, once described by a good friend of mine as an enclave of cultural vivacity located extremely close to lots of water.

Nothing outrageous comes up on YouTube. These two from April 24th 2009 are a bit interesting.

Two videos, that look very similar from two slightly different angles uploaded to two different accounts?

Most likely someone was trying to create a little UFO over Olympia WA buzz and fell a little short in their execution.

The town I was born in Waverly, Iowa comes up with a blank on YouTube, but a little Googling brought me this interesting news story from 1897 from a town near Waverly.

April 1897: AIRSHIP LANDS IN IOWA

“Waterloo, Iowa April 17 – This region is much excited over an airship or a large vessel designed to leave the impression that it is a flying machine.”

“It was first observed here at dawn yesterday (April 16, 1897). The stranger in charge says it is a flying machine and he landed here to make some repairs and that he will resume his voyage in the air to-day. He keeps all people at a distance of several hundred yards from the machine and therefore many do not credit his story, but think it is a fake designed to create a sensation.”

“Just what object the man has to gain is a mystery, as he has not asked for money from the hundreds who have visited the field to take a look at the thing.”

“The structure is about 40 feet long (13 meters), constructed like a giant cigar, with wing-like
attachments on the sides and a steering apparatus in the rear.”

“The whole is surmounted by a cupola, or lookout cabin, on the roof. The queer craft appears to be built of canvas and to be heavily varnished.”

“A pipe leading from the cone constantly emits vapor, as if the motive power were steam. The man in charge is a stranger hereabouts and carries a rifle to keep the people from too closely examining the machine. He secured permission from the farmer upon whose land he is to keep the machine there for a few days.”

“The man says he is on a voyage around the world but was forced to alight for repairs and that if the people do not believe he can fly through the air they can wait and he will give them a free exhibition.”

FoxNews is quick to point out that a recent video claiming to be a UFO near River Liffey outside of Dublin was posted on December 2008 and credited with being filmed over Fremont, California.

AMAZING footage of a UFO has been taken in Ireland – as The Sun re-launches the nation’s X-Files.

A triangular formation of lights was filmed flying at night at “incredible speed”.

Experts reckon the sighting near the River Liffey in Dublin could be a secret aircraft – or spacecraft.

The UFOs resemblance to the ship in the 1979 video game Asteroids ship is… impressive. It even darts around like the in the old school vector graphics video game.

The video was posted on dede95064’s Youtube Channel and matches exactly the one The Sun claims is from Dublin.

Is someone pulling a fast one on the Sun?

I'm No Canadian, But I Don't Think That Is A Model Rocket Or A Jet Trail

Reports of “three huge grey bullets” crossing the sky on Monday, January 25th over Newfoundland have been blamed on toy rockets and jetliner vapour trail.

Defense Minister Peter MacKay commented on the reports of objects at an announcement yesterday in St. John’s.

“We will provide money to build a landing strip for UFOs at Harbour Mille,” MacKay was quoted as saying, “No, I’m only kidding. I’m joking. That’s a joke.”

A UFO researcher, Bjorn Borg, a 63-year-old retired economist not the tennis player, says what people are really seeing is the effect of jetliner vapour trails catching winter sunlight.

Public Safety spokesman Chris McCluskey stated there were no Canadian rockets in the air that would be responsible for the sighting. The Defense Department, had no immediate response.

I’m not sure how I missed this little UFO drama at the end of last year.

It seems several Anonymous youtube users had been impersonating MUFON in an unfortunate slander campaign against a fellow youtube user.

Mark Easter, MUFON’s International Director of Public Relations sets the story straight about recent youtube misconduct (they have an International Director of Public Relations?).

The Triangle UFO Hovering Over Moscow has gotten people pretty worked up.

Some are claiming its a hoax, playing off the recent Spiral UFO Over Norway.

It is odd that there isn’t more footage or photographs. Both the daylight and night time sightings appear to be prolonged events and you would think more photos and videos would be online if it was witnessed by others
