It seems the eastern Pennsylvania town is a hotspot for multiple UFO sights, as an email to the Whales In Space Contact Form brought in this report from June 18th.

my buddy and I saw them about 50 objects.Around 700pm,in Bethlehem pa he
said it was prob military,I had doubts not that high in the sky abt 50,000
feet or higher blue red green and white were the colors, they were making
strange circles zipping back and forth and were gone in about 10 mins or
so,any ideas?

“so,any ideas?”…

No. These reports of large numbers of mysterious lights in the sky, only 80 miles East of New York City go mostly unreported and unexplained.

June 5th 2010 Australia Spiral UFO

A new spiral UFO, very similar to the one seen over Norway in December 2009, has been seen over New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT Australia. The UFO was seen at sunrise on June 5th.

The UFO was described as yellowish in color and said to have lasted two or three minutes.

Astronomers like Geoffrey Whyatt from the Sydney Observatory have already declared the UFO space junk or possibly a rocket.

“The fact that you’ve got the rotation, the spiral effect, is very reminiscent of the much widely reported sightings from Norway and Russia last year, which both turned out to be a Bulava missile which was being adjusted in its orbit.

So possibly a rocket, I would say, having some sort of gyroscopic stability rocket fired on its side.

The first I saw of the spirals was last year when they were reported in Norway and then a few days later in Russia.

The Norway one was very spectacular because of its symmetrical appearance.

But the one this morning and the one in Russia bear a striking similarity of being the same effects from a rocket trying to be controlled or adjusted.”

A privately-owned rocket launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida on its first test flight is believed to be responsible.

Doug Moffett from UFO Research NSW finds some problems with the quick rocket explaination.

“Firstly, the time of the launch was 18.45 GMT, which translates to 4.45am EST, the duration of the flight was 9 minutes 38 seconds – this is a full hour before the reported sightings.

Secondly, where was the glow from the boosters or from the friction created by the craft moving through the atmosphere, where was the tail of the rocket?

Thirdly, why would anyone launch a rocket on a maiden test flight with a trajectory that would take it over the most heavily populated parts of Australia?

And how big must this rocket have been to be seen so clearly, at the same time, over such a vast distance?”

In early May, 2010, Object 2010 KQ was detected by the Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona. The object approached Earth from deep space, coming in almost to the distance of the Moon’s orbit, and is now headed away again.

Using the NASA-sponsored Infrared Telescope Facility in Mauna Kea, Hawaii, astronomers have determined the object to be only a few meters in size and not an asteroid, but artificial in origin.

The object has not used any propulsion during the time it has been observed, but it is believed that it must have moved under its own power at some point, given its position and velocity.

So what is it?

The current theory being presented by NASA is that it is a spent booster stage from previous mission.

The next time Earth and Object 2010 KQ get close is 2036.

Objects colliding with the Earth in 2036? Sound familiar?
Remember Aphophis – Asteroid 2004 MN4?. Oh yeah, it just happens to also be a possible Earth impact in 2036.
